Summary

The 9th Edition of the International Conference on Meteorology and Climatology of the Mediterranean (MetMed) will take place in the Polytechnic School, located in Stradone S. Agostino 37, Genoa (Italy), on May 22-24, 2023.

It will be jointly organized by the University of Genoa, the Italian Association of Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology (AISAM), the Catalan Association of Meteorology (ACAM), with the support of Tethys, the Journal of Mediterranean Meteorology & Climatology, and the University of the Balearic Islands.

The Conference aims to show, discuss and disseminate the recent scientific progress and contributions of the international scientific community on different aspects of meteorology and the climatology of the Mediterranean region and foster communication and collaborations between different research groups, professionals from weather/climate services and stakeholders.
