Summary

The 5th Training Course on WMO SDS-WAS products (satellite and ground observation and modelling of atmospheric dust) has been held 5-9 November 2016 in Tehran, Iran, organized by World Meteorological Organization (WMO), the European Organisation for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites (EUMETSAT), the Islamic Republic of Iran Meteorological Organization (IRIMO), the Atmospheric Science and Meteorological Research Center (ASMERC) and the Barcelona Dust Forecast Center.

The local organizer of the event was IRIMO and the course coordinator Barcelona Dust Forecast Center.
